Current versionAligned the FAQ answers on credit refunds and mid-period subscription cancellation with the refund policy revised the same day. Credits and chat packs partly used within the refund window are refunded after deducting the used portion at the unit price actually paid, with no fee; for subscriptions, usage is deducted at that charge's contract rate within 7 days of the charge and at list price afterwards.

| Q. Can I refund credits I bought? Credit top-ups and AI chat message packs are sold as one-off purchases through both international payments (Dodo Payments, USD) and domestic payments (Toss Payments general payment, KRW), with the same refund rules regardless of payment method. For subscription refunds see "What if I cancel a subscription mid-period?" below. If you haven't spent any of that purchase and it is within 7 days, it is refunded in full with no fee. If you spent part of it, we deduct what you used at list price and refund the rest. For international payments (Dodo Payments, USD) the non-recoverable payment-processing fee is also deducted; no such fee is deducted for domestic payments (Toss Payments). Tax is returned in proportion to the refunded amount. | Q. Can I refund credits I bought? | Q. What if I cancel a subscription mid-period? You can request a prorated refund for the remaining days. Units and chat messages used out of that period's own allowance are deducted at list price. For overseas payments (Dodo Payments, USD) a non-recoverable payment-processor fee may additionally be deducted; no separate payment-processor fee is deducted for domestic payments (Toss Payments, KRW). Anything carried over from the previous period was provided by that earlier payment and is not deducted. If you used nothing of that period's own allowance, the fee is waived. Cancelling immediately forfeits only what that period granted: its remaining units and its monthly AI chat messages. On an overseas-payment subscription, anything carried over from the previous period — units and AI chat messages alike — stays until the end of its original carry-over window, because an earlier payment already covered it (Toss Payments subscriptions have no carry-over). Credits and purchased chat (A) bought separately are unaffected by cancellation. | Q. What if I cancel a subscription mid-period? You can request a prorated refund for the remaining days. Answers about carry-over now state that subscriptions paid through Toss Payments (domestic payments) do not carry over monthly units or AI chat messages, and the answers about credit top-ups and AI chat message packs now cover domestic one-off purchases and the fee rules for them.
Credits and units

|---|---|
| Q. What is the difference between units (U) and credits (C)? They are the same processing measure; what differs is where they came from. Units are the monthly allowance your subscription grants. Credits are prepaid balance you top up whenever you like. Credit top-ups are offered only for overseas payments (Dodo Payments, USD); domestic payments (Toss Payments, KRW) offer the monthly subscription only. Subscription units are meant for that billing period (whatever is left rolls over for one more period), while topped-up credits are valid for one year from the date of purchase. AI chat messages included with a subscription roll over for one more period too, just like units. | Q. What is the difference between units (U) and credits (C)? On overseas-payment (Dodo Payments) subscriptions, leftover units and the AI chat messages included with the subscription roll over for one more period. | Q. What happens when I run out of monthly messages? If you are subscribed, they refill at the start of your next billing period. On the free tier they start over each month. If you are subscribed, the unused part of that period's monthly allowance carries over for one more period and lapses after that. Free monthly messages do not carry over — each month gives you that month's allowance only. Messages are spent in this order: carried-over messages, then this period's monthly allowance, then any bonus messages, and finally a purchased message pack — the balance that lapses soonest goes first, and the balance you paid for goes last. Purchased messages are valid for one year from the date of purchase, and anything left after that lapses. | Q. What happens when I run out of monthly messages? | Q. Do unused units carry over? Leftover monthly units roll over for one more period and then expire. Unused monthly AI chat messages roll over the same way. Credits and AI chat message packs (purchased chat) bought through overseas payments are valid for one year from the date of purchase, and anything left after that lapses. Units or AI chat messages granted to you by support are valid for 30 days from the grant. | Q. Do unused units carry over? It depends on the payment method. On overseas-payment (Dodo Payments, USD) subscriptions, leftover monthly units roll over for one more period and then expire, and unused monthly AI chat messages roll over the same way. When you pay through Toss Payments (domestic payments), the units and AI chat messages remaining from a subscription's monthly allowance do not carry over. The operator would like to offer the same carry-over on domestic subscriptions, but under the domestic payment provider's (Toss Payments) review rules for recurring payments, a subscription whose monthly allowance carries over cannot be operated as a recurring-payment product, so leftover units and AI chat messages on a Toss Payments subscription lapse when the billing period ends. Purchased credits and AI chat message packs (purchased chat) are valid for one year from the date of purchase regardless of payment method, and anything left after that lapses. | Q. How is payment handled? Domestic (KRW) payments are processed through Toss Payments (a payment gateway), and the seller is the operator (LeanLog). International (USD) payments are processed by Dodo Payments as the Merchant of Record. Full card numbers and CVCs are never stored by SKIMTUBE. Which products are sold depends on the payment axis: domestic payments offer the monthly subscription only, while credit top-ups and AI chat message packs are offered only for international payments. For domestic payments your statement may show the operator's trade name (LeanLog) or a descriptor designated by Toss Payments; for international payments it may show Dodo Payments or a descriptor Dodo Payments designates. If you paid internationally, you can open the Dodo Payments customer portal from settings to view invoices and receipts, change your payment method, and manage your subscription. The terms that apply to international payments are in the Dodo Payments Buyer Terms (https://dodopayments.com/legal/buyer-terms), and refund or billing questions can be sent to the contact routes on this page for the operator to handle. | Q. The mid-period cancellation answer now describes the payment-processor fee the same way as the Refund & Cancellation Policy: it may be deducted only for overseas payments (Dodo Payments, USD), and no separate payment-processor fee is deducted for domestic payments (Toss Payments, KRW). The Korean answers also now write the operator's name as its registered trade name; the English answers continue to use the brand name LeanLog.

Updated the unit deduction guide. This month's subscription units now also cover direct summaries, spent in the order rolled-over units → granted (bonus) units → this month's units → topped-up credits. The 30-day validity of signup and Telegram-connection bonus units is now stated, and the plan overview reflects the new channel limits (Basic 10 watched / 30 registered, Pro 30 watched / 100 registered).

| Q. Which balance is spent first? For summaries you request yourself: rolled-over units, then granted (bonus) units, then topped-up credits. This month's subscription units are never spent on a direct request — they are the allowance for automatically watching and summarizing the channels you registered. For automatic channel summaries: rolled-over units, then this month's subscription units, then granted units. You can change this order to "credits first" or "credits only" in settings. | Q. | Q. Is there anything free to start with? Signing up grants a one-time trial allowance. You can see the amount on the top-up screen in settings after you sign up. AI chat gives you 5 messages a month without a subscription. The allowance opens once you complete at least one summary that month, and each month gives you that month's allowance only — nothing carries over. | Q. Is there anything free to start with?
